her first outfit

Goose made this top and skirt with Grandma last weekend.
She did most of he sewing herself.
Isn't it cute?
She spent quite a bit of time picking out each fabric.
Grandma made a lot of our clothes when we were kids.
She is quite talented with a sewing machine.
I have to say this talent seems to have skipped a generation!
The next project is an elizabethan dress for an American Girl doll.
Goose chose this as her project for her Shakespeare class.
I can't wait to see how it turns out!

  6. Her outfit is super cute and so is she!
Marina (of A Small Tribe) directed me to your blog in response to a question about homeschooling locally. I tried your email link, but it doesn't work. If you have a moment and are willing to answer a few questions, would you mind emailing me? Thank you! (Marina says "hi!" by the way!)
