i with my tea
and the kids with their brushes, paint brushes, that is.
while they were creating their masterpieces
i was crocheting!yep, i'm slowly but surely getting
the hang of it.
what i love more than anything is the relaxed state i fall into while doing it.
sipping tea and listening to goose and binky chat
about friends, snowboarding, and autumn projects was heaven.
there was a peaceful calm in the room that i did not want to end.
it was a blissful afternoon filled with art and love!
What a lovely post :) The artwork is great. And that's awesome you are crocheting! I vow that I will take that hobby up someday soon ... although I've said that for awhile I now, I really do mean it ... lol.
ReplyDeleteI really like their colors...and the color of your yarn. That whole big field of pumpkins on a full moon night - wow!
ReplyDeleteI have been re-learning to crochet lately too, since it is easier on the hands. Just starting to get more into it...in time for gift making! :)
Sounds like a really lovely afternoon. I am learning crocheting too - still got lots to learn! Beautiful art!
ReplyDeleteAh, the peaceful days of fall...
ReplyDeleteSo, so wonderful. I sort of had a similar afternoon yesterday--only Benjamin was working with dough while I felted little witchlings for in my Etsy shop. :)
ReplyDeleteI got your e-mail--I'm sorry I had to confirm your suspicions about the actors. HA HA!
beautiful......these moments are precious! love your blog! <3
ReplyDeleteI love the artwork! Fabulous stuff.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could work with my hands, but it seems as I have two lefts?
Can't wait to see your finished project.
