Goose and Binky are taking science classes through the charter school on Wednesdays. Binky's class is "Sifting through Science." It's an introduction to the scientific process. Their first class was working with water. What kid doesn't love playing with water? It was messy and fun! It's a class with 5 and 6 year olds that lasts an hour and a half. There's a break in the middle to eat and play on the playground. When I asked Binky what he liked best about the class he answered, "Recess!" No big surprise there! Goose really enjoyed her class. Her partner was a little chatty. But it went well, otherwise. She also takes a creative writing class after lunch. She loves to write! Both kids made new friends and had a great day! What more can I ask for?

ReplyDeleteWow! this is great! Noah goes for science labs at our science center (which we are so lucky, it's about a 2 min. car ride away.) It's for homeschoolers, so he gets to see lots of his friends. It's really wonderful to hook up with other homeschoolers!
