photos of the week

Binky has been spending quite a bit of time at the skatepark. He has several bruises and scrapes to prove it!

Goose and I made these cornhusk dolls as part of her colonial america study. I call these two
Goose and Binky!

Leaves are starting to change here. I love these colors!

Breakfast with Leonardo da Vinci!
We have a busy week ahead. Goose is taking a class at the local Repetory Theatre. There is some improv and performing of their own written works. The class will also create and perform their own play! I can't wait to see it! Both kids begin their weekly classes on Wednesday. Binky is taking a writing class and sports in the afternoon. Goose is taking poetry in the morning and probability and statistics in the afternoon. They are very excited! I am looking forward to going for walks with some other moms while the kids are in classes.

  5. Don't you just love making corn husk dolls? Yours are especially lovely - and apparently most everyone agrees!

Save those gorgeous leaves! Put them between newspapers for about two weeks until dried. The let Goose and Binky brush the surfaces with Mod Podge. Once dry, they will be preserved. The brilliant color and suppleness restored. It's magic!

  6. The theatre class sounds fantastic. Araina would be be great in a class like that, she is so dramatic in everything she does.

Best looking corn husk dolls on the web!
