coffee filter art

Goose loves doing this! She starts with a coffee filter and some washable markers. After drawing her circles, she places the filter on top of a jar with no lid. Then she uses a paint brush dipped in water and dabs it around the color lines. After a few seconds you have beautiful rainbows of color running together. They really are pretty! Not sure how we should display them yet. Caution! Do not use your very last coffee filter! You do not want to wake up in the morning with no coffee filters! :/

  1. Very fun! In the Spring we do this and scrunch up the middles, twist with a pipe cleaner and make them into butterflies.
I love the whole tie-dyed look. My older kids will love doing it this way.

  3. I did this with my 4 year olds and it came out beautiful. I am going to display them as a spring garden theme.
